The New Wave collection is what the Kosmosky team is genuinely proud of. We have applied the latest technologies and materials to create a series of steel tongue drums with the greatest capacity in the world so far. Even though the new wave instruments sound professional and have cosmic potential, they are still easy to master.
The first instrument to share is a 15-note New Wave 15 tongue drum and its electroacoustic version. Play it, discover new harmonies, enjoy it, and be surprised at what this drum can deliver, as well as at what you can do with it.

G major is one of the most popular keys in music. It’s equally suitable for composing the tunes of your own or covering well-known songs.
15 notes and 2 octaves, the widest key range steel tongues have so far, makes New Wave 15 a complete instrument and provides musical “freedom” for a variety of playing ways.
Built-in pickups take it up a notch! The electroacoustic version of New Wave 15 is an ideal option for stage performances and high quality sound recording.
ERGONOMIC
Play intervals and chords with just one hand. The tongues are positioned in such a way that it won’t be hard to do: three tongues in a row form a chord. Play thirds and fifths, learn chord playing.
A larger number of tongues does not deprive playing the instrument of ease – even a child can cope with it. The steel tongue drum is still an intuitive musical instrument.
It’s easily transportable. Despite the diameter of 38 centimeters, New Wave 15 only weighs 3.5 kg. With such a size, it's simply impressive.
PERFECT PROTECTION
The special powder coating technology significantly exceeds the standard lacquer coating and prevents from rust. The paint is durable, it’s not easy to scratch it.
Take New Wave 15 outside, play it with children, leave it alone with pets and don’t worry about the instrument’s appearance.
We have reinforced the drum’s edges with strong bordering. It will protect the coating from abrasion and will become a safety cushion if the instrument falls or gets dropped.

As simple as before
New Wave 15 has received a music education degree for you. Despite the bigger number of notes and the professional capacity of the instrument, it is as easy to master it as a conventional tongue drum. You get a huge space for development and musical experiments without much difficulty.
The instrument is more responsive, so it will be easier to play with your fingers than usual. We recommend starting playing with mallets and gradually accustoming your fingers to the tongues. You'll see, the tunes will come out by themselves.

Electroacoustic version
We have developed a system of built-in pickups, which has no analogues, especially for professionals and experiment lovers. You will be able to amplify and record the sound of the instrument in high quality without microphones.
Apply any external special effects: reverberation, echo, or even distortion. Create your own sound. Signal amplification will help the instrument become part of any band and be heard in the last rows.
Connect it to the sound card, mixing console, combo amplifier, pedal, or effects processor with well-known Jack 6.3.
This is the case when 1 and 1 equal 11. In addition to New Wave 15 and specifically to expand its capacity, we have created New Wave 10. Together with each other, the instruments form a chromatic scale of two octaves of 25 notes! This is a long-awaited innovation in the world of steel tongue drums. The set of two instruments has been named New Wave Symphony.
Not only can you play popular tunes now but also perform sophisticated classical works and legendary symphonies by prominent composers.
New Wave 15 and New Wave 10 are simply made for each other – just like black and white piano keys. Mastering them both will take time, but it's worth it.
