How to play
It’s easiest to play on a smartphone or tablet with a touchscreen.
Screen recording on a smartphone is simplest, but feel free to get creative! You can ask a friend to film you from the side, create a unique montage, or build an entire story—this will increase your chances of winning a New Wave 15 tongue drum, since one grand prize winner is chosen by the Kosmosky team.
You can make your playing more interesting by using the recording and playback functionality — the microphone-like button below the drum. This way you can record, for example, a bass line, and then play the melody on top of it.
- Find the virtual tongue drum below on this page.
- Learn a well-known melody on your own or using our lessons in the “What to Play” section.
- Keep to the rhythm and make sure the melody is recognizable.

What to play
It must be a well-known song, not an improvisation.
You can choose a melody on your own or learn it through our lessons on this playlist for G maj and this one for G min.
We just recently launched the minor drum, so sorry there aren’t that many lessons yet.
